Description
This is a complete set of 32 mm Black Lightning Carbs and manifolds for a later Lightning. The manifolds are Vincent part nos. ET 32/ 5 and ET 32/ 4, rear and front respectively. AMAL supplied specially cast T10TT9 carburetors for the Black Lightning. These can be distinguished from regular, non-Black Lightning carbs of the same specification by noting that the casting along the left side of the slide body is not at a right angle to the slide body, but "folded" in somewhat to clear the float chambers. We are unaware of the Vincent part number or the special AMAL carb type number assigned to these front and rear carbs. However, all importantly, this set is a genuine, correct set. Contact us if you have an earlier Black Lightning as we can supply a set for that model as well.

Condition
This set is complete with slides, float chambers, floats, manifolds and other necessary fittings. It is supplied with jets and slides correct for the Black Lightning, 360 main jets and number 7 slides in excellent working condition. The exterior condition of this set is excellent, original. While they are not new, they have not been abused and have a fine cosmetic appearance. Mechanically, they function fully and properly. They do not need to be reconditioned.

History
This set of Lightning carbs came from the collection of a gentleman in New York and were formerly part of the inventory of the then US Parts importer for Vincent, Mr. Harry Bellville of Ohio.
